Pre-Screening of Applicants for Employment

Vocational Testing:

  • To determine an applicant’s ability to meet the performance requirements of the job and to serve the corporate philosophy.

  • The General Aptitude Test Battery (GATB) is used to measure 9 job-related aptitudes. This is the most widely used aptitude test in North America. It has been the official aptitude test of the Government of Canada. The skill levels of all jobs in
    Canada are rated according to the aptitudes measured by the GATB.

  • Additional tests are available to measure interests, academic achievement, intelligence, personality and temperament type, and specific skill areas, e.g. keyboarding, mechanical reasoning, etc.

De-hiring/Layoff/Termination Assistance for Affected Employees:

  • Loss counselling

  • Analysis of transferable skills

  • Vocational testing

  • Resume development

  • Job search assistance

  • Limited secretarial and office accommodation services
